Eureka & the Biomass is a sci-fi mini-musical in which the fallout of our current ecological conundrums set the stage for a love affair between a synthetic organism and a human being in the year 2100. Through puppeteering, original music and onstage special effects the performance will present a Beauty and the Beast for the 22nd century. As art and technical director I collaborated on conceptual and design development of the biomass creature and the set, and led the design and fabrication of the Biomass’ performative skeleton and two stage dual axis tentacle.
